Course description
A basic-intermediate course for students that already have some knowledge of the language. A great opportunity to delve into the Italian world and lifestyle, with its peculiarities and its extraordinary culture!
Classes will be held in a friendly and relaxed environment and will deal not only with grammar and vocabulary, but also with conversation, Italian culture and some games.

Course goal
The course will consist in 10 sessions from 9 to 12.30 am, from Monday to Friday.
Starting from an A1 level, each student will improve the 4 linguistic abilities: listening, reading, writing and speaking. At the end, the attendees will be able to express themselves in quite complex situations of everyday life.
Addressees
All those who are willing to improve their knowledge of the Italian language both for their studies / career or simply out of personal interest.
Requirements
A1 level of Italian. The students’ initial knowledges will be assessed through a simple oral test. Minimum age 16 years old.
Program and topics
All lectures will be taught in class at the Civica Altiero Spinelli Translators and Interpreter School. The course will be divided in 10 sessions from 9 to 12.30 am, from Monday to Friday.
The topics covered are the ones established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. So at the end of course the learner will be able to:
- understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment)
- communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters
- describe in simple terms aspects of their background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need
