Course of Italian for foreigners – A0 to A1 level

Course description

A crash course for absolute beginners, to learn quickly and effectively the basics of the Italian language. An immersive experience into the Italian world and lifestyle, with its peculiarities and its extraordinary culture!

Lectures will be held in a friendly and relaxed environment and will deal not only with grammar and vocabulary, but also with conversation and some games.

Course goal

The course will consist in 10 sessions from 9 to 12.30 am, from Monday to Friday.

Starting from scratch, each student will learn to communicate in simple, everyday tasks and will acquire the 4 linguistic abilities: listening, reading, writing and speaking. At the end, the attendees will be able to express themselves, though in simple /elementary words, in everyday situations and contexts.

All those who are willing to start learning the Italian language both for their studies / career or simply out of personal interest.

Requirements

No particular requirement is necessary. Minimum age 16 years old.

Program and topics

All lectures will be in presence at the Civica Altiero Spinelli Translators and Interpreter School. The course will be divided in ten-3.5 hour days in the morning, from 9:00 to 12:30, from Monday to Friday.

The subjects taught are the ones established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. So at the end of course the learner will be able to:

• understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type
• introduce himself and others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he lives, people he knows and things he has
• interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help
